Write this question on the board: What are other countries doing to make Mexico a better place to live?
Bring two videos about countries which are doing something to make
their countries a better place to live. (Education Finland, Environment
England)
What are the people of these countries doing to
make Mexico a better place to live? (Write a list on a bond paper and stick it
on the wall)

are professionals like you doing to make Mexico a better place to live?

On every corner, leave a magazine, a newspaper
or any other document. Students go there and find an article about good
examples of things that are being done in Mexico (projects). Take it and get
three sentences from the reading in
present progressive and say if you are
doing the same or not.

are you doing to make Mexico a better place to live?
Now students are going to write what they are
doing.
Students come to the board and write one or two sentences. Then they take a picture to
the board.
To finish
give students the song Get a
better place with some
blanks. (try to leave the blanks where
students need to fill in with vocabulary about education and environment.
HOMEWORK.- Do research about what the school you study
in or the company you work for is doing to become better and write a half page
summary.
